NDLULAMITHI
Ndlulamithi was one of the original Magnificent Seven.
(c. 1927 - 1985)
His name comes from the Tsonga word
meaning "Taller than the trees"
He was an aggressive Tusker, charged Anthony Hall-Martin when he tried to photograph him.
However the range of Ndlulamithi overlapped the one of Mafunyane they were never seen together.
He died of natural causes in 1985 at an estimated
58 years of age in the Shangoni area.
His tusks were recovered by ranger Paul Zway and displayed at the Letaba Elephant Hall.
