The name Mahudzi is derived from the Tsjonga word meaning "A Passer-By".  Mahudzi is named after a little river north of Letaba restcamp

Characteristics
 
This bull was a large elephant, standing about 340 cm at the shoulders. He had an inverted V-shaped tear at the bottom of his left ear. Tusks are bowed and curved inwards
