PHELWANE died in 1988.
 
Phelwane was named after a spruit which crosses
the Satara - Orpen road
 
Allthough he was not one of the Magnificent 7 his tusks are exposed in the Letaba Elephant Hall

Characteristics
 
Phelwane's right tusk was more straight, the left more curved upwards. He had very heavy tusks
